Photograph the collector number clearly
Use one card per photo with the entire front visible. Keep the name, set information and collector number in focus. A clear number helps distinguish cards with the same character or similar artwork across different sets. JPEG, PNG and WebP uploads are supported, up to 10 MB each.
Check the printing and finish
Review the matched set and card number before accepting a result. Regular, holo and reverse-holo finishes can have different values, and similar-looking printings are not interchangeable. Glare can obscure text or foil patterns, so retake unclear photos and manually confirm the finish rather than treating a scan as authentication.
Use market values as a reference
Available TCGplayer market prices are shown in USD alongside converted CAD values. These are market references, not an appraisal of the wear on your specific card. Unavailable prices stay blank. Check the card’s condition yourself and enter your own price where appropriate.
Build stock after review
Save corrections to condition, language and quantity, then use Add to inventory. Your reviewed stock stays separate from the scan batch. Matching variants can combine quantities; different finishes or conditions remain separate stock entries. Search your inventory and update quantities as your collection changes.
Prepare an export for your next tool
Export a saved batch to CSV for a spreadsheet or another workflow. If an importer needs your own photo, explicitly include shareable image links. These links are accessible without signing in, so only share photos you intend to disclose. Mapping the scanner CSV to a marketplace’s listing fields is a separate step.
